If you are a watch fan, we hope you are enjoying our series of summer competitions, with a new prize every day. We are offering everything from goodies provided by some of our partner brands to big-ticket items such as watch winders from our friends at Swiss Kubik and watch analysers from the folks at Lepsi.

In addition to those who visit the site regularly and subscribe to our newsletter, many people hear about our competitions through word of mouth. One of the main sources of such communication is the big websites in the UK and France that are dedicated to the community of “compers”. Such sites provide their own newsletters and a daily feed of all the latest competitions, often offering the answers to the competition questions.

And there’s the rub…

We have been delighted with the interest in our summer competitions, which we can see in our traffic statistics. But having developed a simple tool to make the random draw each day and provide statistics such as the proportion of correct answers and from browsing some of the above-mentioned sites, we can see that people all too easily copy answers provided by someone else without knowing whether or not they are right.

The rule of thumb

We have even seen traces of people entering the entire question in a Google search. Not surprisingly, such a search often leads directly back to WorldTempus! So what is the best way to ensure that your answers are correct and that you therefore have a fair chance of being picked out from the correct entrants? It’s simple: all the answers to our questions can be found somewhere on, so here are my three tips for finding them:

Most answers are specific to a particular brand. Each brand on WorldTempus has its own page (accessible from our list of watch brands) with full details about the brand (history, philosophy and main collections), as well as all the recent news related to that brand and a link to the brand’s entire watch collection on WorldTempus. The partner page for a brand provides access to a wealth of information and all the news related to that brand.

If you’re still stuck, head for the top-right of your screen and click on the “SEARCH” icon, where you can enter a more specific search on the site. You will also find a handy definition of the day and a lexicon.

A search using our internal search engine instantly returns the answer for one of our competitions.

Google is, of course, still your friend. You can still search the WorldTempus site using the search engine’s main index by typing “” before your search query.

Bear in mind that we do not announce the competitions in advance but there is one every day and we still have a number of watch winders and other valuable prizes to give away, so keep coming back often to check our competitions page.

First half 2015 Rolex replica watch and jewellery profits up 91%

— The Swiss replica Rolex watches and jewellery division makes an excellent contribution to a healthy first half for the luxury conglomerate.

Sales for the first half of 2015 at LVMH were up by a respectable 19% and net profit climbed by a more modest 5% – still welcome news in the current uncertain economic climate. But the contribution of the watches and jewellery division is startling. The sales figures were up to 1.552 billion euros (compared with 1.266 billion over the same period last year), but profit from recurring operations was up by a staggering 91% over the same period, with the operating margin rising by over 50% (from 8.5% to 13.2%).

The Bulgari boost

With other brands cutting back budgets and putting their watchmakers on short time, where is this growth coming from? One source might be the group’s own-name stores in this sector, to which it added at the rate of two per month over the past year. Another is Bulgari, which the group claims saw “markedly rapid growth, particularly in China, the Middle East and Europe”. Growth that comes from the success of the brand’s jewellery lines as well as the take-up for the new ladies Lvcea collection, the men’s Octo line and the new Diagono Magnesium models presented at Baselworld.

LVMH attributes sound growth to its other Best Swiss Replica Rolex UK Watches 2015 brands, singling out the new Carrera Heuer 01 model by TAG Heuer, Hublot’s moved upmarket with its artistic associations, Zenith’s new Elite 6150 movement and Chaumet’s Joséphine collection as particularly noteworthy.


With the majority of TAG Heuer’s new models to hit the stores in the second half of the year and the lucrative run-up to Christmas to follow, the fake Rolex watches and jewellery brands are on course for a year that could defy the general economic climate, renovated Bulgari stores due to open in London and Geneva and the extension of the Hublot factory to open, the outlook is bright for LVMH.
